Investigation of the formation of value relations

a culture of pedagogical communication in students of pedagogical specialties

 

Learning the basics of pedagogical communication and culture is important, as well as pedagogical communication is a pedagogical action to address the pedagogical problems and ongoing pedagogical tools, technologies, methods, and techniques.

Pedagogical communication - is a special form of communication, the specificity is determined by the educational objectives, content and selection of special tools. [1. S.443, 454]. Communication is teaching, when has unique features which include:

- Pedagogical orientation,

- Contact, dialogic, tact,

- Openness, honesty, credibility,

- Speech culture,

- Possession of techniques and methods of persuasion and the impact on listeners.

Culture of pedagogical intercourse - is a high level of expression of all these properties in the communion of the teacher in charge of pedagogical activity and specificity of the requirements for its effectiveness. Based on this technique and pedagogical communication.

In the process of teaching these courses for students of pedagogical disciplines important to remember the following properties of the pedagogical communication and the need for their formation of social competencies.

First of all - is the ability to listen, patiently and carefully, with great interest the statements of the interlocutor, the direction of gaze at him with a posture that expresses too attentive listening and empathy. Today's global trend in teacher communication is a rejection of monologic communication and use of dialogic communication.

Then - this is the initial contact, which needs to understand the other person, reflection (setting yourself in the other person, presentation and experience of what he says). When establishing contact is very important to pay attention to the elimination of psychological barriers to communication.

Following necessary condition for effective communication - tact. This marked feature of pedagogical communication, a sense of proportion in his statements and actions on the interlocutor. [1. P.455, 456]. And of course, pedagogical communication should be characterized by high verbal culture, whose development is also part of the culture of pedagogical communication.

We support the psychological point of view to value ratio, as they are psychological and pedagogical rationale for the formation of valuable relationships in general. V.N. Myasishchev defines value as an integral relationship on the basis of the position of individual interaction with the surrounding reality [2]. A.N. Leontiev highlights two important properties of any value - social value and personal meaning [3]. Value orientation refers to teachers as reflected in the consciousness of human values that it recognizes as the strategic goals in life and general philosophical orientation (M.G. Kazakina, TI Malkovskaya) [4, 5]. Methodological basis for the study of the topic can be a system of value orientations of the individual (V.A. Slastenin, 2004). This system includes a range of values, among which are the value-goals and values, means and tools include value-value ratio [6. P.105-106]. That's the value-relation to the way the teacher interaction with students and teacher attitude toward himself as a professional and an individual.

Sustainable value attitude to the culture of pedagogical communication in students of pedagogical specialties is the inclusion of this culture into the values of the individual, and should be determined by several factors, which include: instructional software, communication skills and competence of teachers, students' motivation to know the laws and culture of teaching communication.

The mechanism of formation of value relations include the following components: goal setting, determining the structure of educational activities in accordance with the purpose, operation-cognitive part, the choice of organizational forms of teaching and educational work, operational activity-related part, a reflection (reflection), estimation.

To investigate the levels of formation of values related to culture, pedagogical communication among students should be constant monitoring, integrated tools which may include the following components:

- Analysis of trends in performance in disciplines related to the formation of pedagogical culture or culture of pedagogical communication ("The Psychology of Business Communication" and "Culture of business communication", "Psychology of Management", "Psychology and ethics of business communication," etc.);

- Study the classification of values among students at the beginning and in the process of studying these subjects, using known techniques (M. Rokich, I.G. Senin).

A system for studying the structure of values among students is should be develop, and students from different courses, undergraduates, and at least two times a year (at the end and the beginning of the academic year) should organize scientific-methodical conferences of teachers to analyze the results of research and development of management solutions for the creation educational programs, whose purpose - creating a system of values and values necessary for a modern competent technical specialists. The main directions of such research should include:

- Review and analysis of existing values of students during the learning process;

- Comparing students' personal values with the values of the university as a whole (you need to develop a model for the values of the university staff and faculty, staff and students as an educational and scientific community);

- Identify the differences between personal values of students and the general, as defined in this model;

- Development of management decisions and develop a common policy (or political solution model), aimed at adjusting educational programs.

As test methods for the study of their business and personal qualities, and to study the interpersonal relationships in the group of tests is recommended to use "the role of the Group", "sociotype personality", "Research and communication organizational abilities, "Differential-diagnostic questionnaire of E.A. Klimov, sociometrical techniques.

The essence of value related to the culture of pedagogical communication in students of pedagogical disciplines as research subject is complex and includes the following components:

- Cognitive (not only the knowledge, skills, but also professional and social competence);

- Motivation (interest in the culture of pedagogical communication in students of pedagogical disciplines, cognitive activity, the need for practical use);

- Value-semantic (cultural value orientations, pedagogical communication skills);

- The activity (the formation of willingness to use the communicative competence in teacher communication, including during the passage of pedagogical practices),

- Emotional (emotions associated with awareness of their professional capabilities and performance management functions in future educational activities).

In our opinion, these components are expressed in sufficient levels of qualities that are designated as social morality, spiritual maturity, emotional maturity and social intelligence.

In our study the method of study of personal qualities leader is used. That qualities are associated with value orientations of the groups [7. P. 434-440]. The results of the survey of students majoring "Professional Education (on the branches)" (Penza State Technological Academy, 2011) are shown in Table 1.

Assistance to students in clarifying their personal values and cultivating meaningful for the higher education community values should be an important task, especially supervisors and groups of employees of psychological support. But should be involved in this and other teachers, leading classes in different cycles of disciplines. Education should be a value, and higher education must be submitted as a hard but rewarding work,

The program of deliberate values training and the scientific community (group) should be established, and this program should include:

- The development of strategically important corporate values;

- Promotion of these values using techniques that do not contradict the personal and group values;

- Institutional support to the carriers of values which promote these values among students in the learning process;

- The formation of such rules of conduct, which corresponds to the corporate values, with the creation of appropriate sanctions.

In accordance with the experience of the work described in the literature, it is advisable to develop a program "The educational activities at the technical university." The objectives of this program may include:

- Diagnosis of personal qualities of teachers, their skills and competencies necessary for effective educational activities at the university;

- Correction and formation of these qualities and competencies using effective modern methods (playing techniques, training);

- Development of creative thinking for use in educational activities.

The objectives of this program are:

- Determining the conditions of professional education and professional development as elements of the training of students;

- Identification of problems in the implementation of educational activities and to develop solutions to these problems, applying the principles and rules for admission of administrative decisions;

- Accumulation of experience and analysis of educational activities in technical colleges;

- Development and implementation of educational projects in key areas of educational activity.

Graduate training in the direction of "Professional Training (on the branches)," with the qualification (degree) "Bachelor" should have the following general common competences (C), among other essential competencies:

- Willingness to positive, friendly style of communication (C-8);

- Readiness for the practical analysis of the logic of various kinds of reasoning skills of public speaking, argumentation, conduct of discussions, debates (C-21)

- The ability to simulate the communication strategy and technology solutions for specific vocational-pedagogical problems (C-26) [8. P.11-12].

To achieve high levels of formation should be introduced and used in the learning process interactive techniques (role-playing and simulation games, business communication training), including the use of modern information technologies.
