THE COMPARATIVE DESCRIPTION OF RULES OF MOVING CITIZENS THROUG CUSTOM BORDER OF UKRAINE AND JAPAN

In accordance with the legislation of Japan, the personal baggage which belong to the Japanese and foreign physical and legal persons must pass custom control. Physical persons here pass custom control in passenger customs in the simplified order. Similar rules operate and in Ukraine, however there are certain differences (table).

As evidently from the table, customs regulations of Japan at the import of the personal things by citizens more loyal, than in Ukraine. Prohibitions are certain carry specific character, inherent Japan (for example, limitation in relation to the import of rice with the purpose of defence of domestic producer and monopoly on rice in a country). At the import of alcoholic products to Japan it is not classified after the index of content of alcohol, as in Ukraine.

Prohibition of import of food stuffs to Japan is explained defence of health of population: together with fresh fruit and green-stuffs wreckers can get in a country. There is a substantial difference in an amount packing of medications.

Thus, in comparison of rules of crossing custom border of Ukraine and Japan citizens, it is possible to draw conclusion, that a national order has more severe limitations, than Japanese. It is suggested to inculcate experience of Japan in relation to prohibition of import of food stuffs.
