Language
is more than comunicative means, language is soul of the people, its world outlook.
Our ancestors deeply honoured word art, submitted to its supernatural force
since many arguments and intestine wars during old times are settled with one wisely
word. In such reason the Kazakhs say: The first of arts is a word. Another ancient
peoples wisdom in a Russian literally translation is: Respect and protect
three own riches - the native people, the native earth and native language. If
you talk scandal about the people, you will not remain buried, if you do not
protect the earth, you will remain without clothes and if you do not respect
the native language you will lose your respect.
Our
beautiful rich Kazakh language has the honour state status and adequately copes
with cargo of the assigned problems. It was the scientist V.Radlov who studied
the Kazakh language from the scientific point of view and saying Even the
simple word in the Kazakh language sounds as the whole song ...
The
state language skills are the unique means that gives the chance to respect the
peoples culture and national values and to find common language in uniting all
in a single whole because of the language in itself is major means of communication.
All the aspects of public life, all processes of cognitive and creative
activity of the person, each instant of its consciousness are accompanied by
language. Language is major riches of each person. The time developing not
daily but hourly, promptly and roughly puts rigid problems and requirements
before education where there language training and teaching in various spheres
of a society has an important value. Giving the official status to the Kazakh
language does not restrain constitutional rights of the native language using by
the nations and the nationalities that live in the republic. Our country thoroughly
supports aspiration of all citizens in studying of state language and we should
never lose sight of these principles. Language is the greatest property and the
integral accessory of the people, a spirituality source. It is necessary to
make all conditions for basic comprehension and studying of state language, the
Kazakh peoples native language that was absorbed with the parent milk, the
spilt blood and ardent desire of ancestors, with the example of the teacher.
Empty
and unconscious studying of language is inadmissible and impossible. Only language
training and teaching will not provide mastering of language by the student to
the full. The history, the literature, culture, national customs and
traditions, the Kazakh peoples way of life can be revealed and learnt by means
of language. Having put such purposes and problems as preconditions we can
bring up the conscious citizens of Kazakhstan who love the people, the nation
and are proud of it.
Forming
the students professional-methodical training during the teaching of modern
Kazakh languages parts it is necessary to pay a special attention to the problem
of language development. The student, who correctly understands grammatical
word meanings, i.e. is able to put the received knowledge into practice, can
transfer the thoughts to the listener clearly and accurately. It is possible to
embody by the students mastering of the Kazakh languages difficult
morphological structure by means of working at speech development. An overall
objective at speech developing is a social communication providing in Kazakh.
In language teaching and training as means of communication the grammar has the
function of this dialogues realization. Therefore the inculcating of skills of
an effective using of the knowledge received in scientific sections in practice
to the student is the actual problem corresponding to fit the times.
Only
combining the knowledge acquired by the student in parts of the Kazakh language
with the works in speech developing, oral and written beautiful speech skills
can bring fruitful results.
Skills
forming occurs at repetition and long exercising. In oral speech training the translation
activity plays an important role. The student will try to define correctly word
meanings, to connect them grammatically and so having made the sentence to render
the text into another language.
The
Kazakh language is a source of social, spiritual-human, aesthetic education. In
process of developing the students colloquial possibilities the role of the
Kazakh language in teaching and education becomes more and more day by day. The
Kazakh language (as well as other languages) should be trained not by
mechanical repetitions of words, sentences, dialogues, monologues but by means
of active speech and conversation.
Students
acquainting with traditions and customs, culture of the Kazakh people during language
training can have a great influence to their all-around development, formation
of their sights concerning language. As the Kazakh language for representatives
of other nationalities is a foreign language it is possible to bring up
students spirit of internationalism, national patriotism through the teaching
foreign, i.e. the Kazakh language. Thus, they will learn to love the people and
to respect other nations. Our people say The person lives one thousand years
thanks to the posterity. Thanks to continuity of generations the mankind lives
not one thousand but one million years. Knowledge is a guiding star to the good
and beauty. As Myrzhakyp Dulatov has told: Day of the ignorant people is a darkness,
the future is a mist, the support of our independent state is the educated
generation. In the course of the Kazakh language teaching it is important to
pay special attention to the correct language training, to oral speech, the
competent writing and expressive reading. One of the purposes of the Kazakh
language teaching methods in a Russian-speaking audience is development of
speech ability of the taught person.
The
teaching purpose is not only achievement of one due result but creating of
conditions for development of the students efficiency and possibility. Basic
elements of interest in training are considered to stimulate the student for
achieving the results, to adhere to a relative direction in training of the state
language of other nationalities representatives, the taught persons should declare
the political-social, economic problems which are taking place in a modern
society by means of conversation, an exchange of opinions and contact among
themselves.
The
Kazakh language teaching is a difficult and interesting study. The task should
be neither an easy nor difficult. Each task comprises a certain difficulty. Setting
the task you should consider the level of the students knowledge. Conditions
for free dialogue, competent writings training, rendering, visualizing and
listening in Kazakh should be created. Along with it students preliminary and
interestedly get acquainted with new words, proverbs and sayings given in the
text by means of computer technology. Computer using in the Kazakh class provokes
interest of students to the subject. At the same time it is possible to develop
their memory and to lift literacy level by means of special computer games. To
conduct the Kazakh class by means of the computer is very effectively.
The
development of oral speech becomes an actual problem because of the trained
should talk and exchange opinions in Kazakh in the course of language teaching.
Speech
activity is a psycho-pedagogical work of a human body in realizing of informal
conversation. The academician and writer G.Musrepov has noticed: Conversation
is a principal communication. And language grows and develops by means of
conversation, reading and writing. To lose sight of one of them is a crime.
Language
training and expansion of a social role and sphere language using expose the relative
direction and reading process as the basic objects for studying.
Reading
and speech are the great tool of language teaching, culture of the nation, art
and knowledge, means of linguistic communication.
The
changes occurring in a society demand most thorough examination and the
critical analysis of languages teaching, achievements in the given direction
and introductions of new scientific technologies.
Language
development is a principal work in language training.
At
the higher educational establishments with Russian training the Kazakh words
studied by students are connected at first with certain themes and secondly with
the speech parts and therefore the Kazakh classes cover both language and
literary teaching materials. As some grammatical explanations and conditions of
tasks are given in Russian there materials concerning comparative grammar are
presented too. The work in lexicon developing at the Kazakh classes is carried
out like that. It is the methods of a question-answer, talk, conversation, the
story, expression of the thought, visual aids, translation, work with the book
and the text. The using of visual aids, drawings, tables, videocassettes, tutorials
in a certain theme is considered to fill up a lexicon of students considerably.
Changing of time makes number of methods increase, they are updated and enriched.
If
we effectively use and realize all the offered methods and possibilities the
question of the Kazakh language studying in Kazakhstan would not be such sharp.
The national status of the Kazakh people would be high and recognized ultimately,
the nation future would be defined. The Kazakh should speak to the Kazakh in
Kazakh, at first we should know native language ourselves. I think, at last the
peoples high-ranking sons would pay attention to knowing and honouring the native
language as the son duty and would be eager to expand the spheres of state
language using immediately. And if there are also representatives of other
nationalities among such optimists and activists it would be absolutely
magnificent.
The
method of level, stage-by-stage training has been effectively used recently.
The basic direction of the given method is transition from simple to difficult
and its development. This method is very comprehensible and effective to use at
the completing of certain themes, examination and repetition. The essence of
level method is the development of the students creative active working
capacity and stimulation of independent work, imparting the skills of
grammatical and lexical themes using in one direction, giving the opportunity
to brainwork. The advantage of this method is to notice what has not been
learnt and acquired and can be prepared independently.
As
one of the new teaching methods the using of the level tasks in class has a positive
influence on development of the students thinking. The tasks are known should
be given according to the level of the students qualification. Level tasks
give the chance to fill up and deepen the students knowledge in the Kazakh
language and they play an important role in formation of certain skills and
qualification. The knowledge of the student is defined during level tasks
exercising. Each task at certain level has the features.
Period
of transition as a main condition of competitive existence puts the great tasks
before higher education system. And therefore the major problem of present time
is to teach students to transfer the thoughts in system, directly and clearly,
to speak competently by means of studying of Kazakh languages parts that are
taught at higher educational establishments. As a result the future Kazakh
languages specialist should possess masterful combined speech and state the
thoughts clearly and accurately, should be the person with high degree of
creative thinking along with a deep professional knowledge competent.
Given
above conclusions prove an urgency of defining the methodical bases of
qualitative mastering of scientific knowledge by the student as a future competent
person of a higher educational establishment in a close connection with ability
to tell competently.
Language
is honoured and powerful at all times and by the peoples. It is
bred-in-the-bone. Richness of language is pride of each people, each nation.
Language is an ivaluable heritage of our ancestors. Each person should cherish
it as the apple of the eye, resist to its pollution with inappropriate words
and expressions. To get the native languages roots is a holy duty of each
young man, the future conscious citizen of the country. And it means that he is
capable to love the native earth, the native people, and the native land as a
whole.
